Additional Developments

Since its inception, Cottonwood Properties has developed a variety of commercial and land projects in the southern Arizona area. In its early years, Cottonwood developed and managed apartment communities. Through the years, Cottonwood has developed numerous neighborhood shopping centers, mostly anchored by major grocery stores. Cottonwood's most recent retail development is the Dove Mountain Centre anchored by a Bashas' supermarket. It has also developed office buildings. Overall, Cottonwood has directly developed over $500 million dollars of real estate projects within the Tucson metropolitan area.
Cottonwood’s largest business is the development of land and large scale communities. In addition to La Paloma and Dove Mountain, Cottonwood Properties has substantially developed the residential portion of Rita Ranch (about 3,000 lots on around 1,000 acres of land) and a 200 acre portion of the Rancho Vistoso Community, including the Rancho Vistoso Center, which is owned and managed by Cottonwood. Cottonwood also develops smaller residential properties, mostly developing lots for sale to the major builders in the area.
